The term osteoporosis is composed of two words meaning bone osteoporosis and porous / weak / weak. It can be defined as a skeletal disorder affecting bone strength and predispose to an increased risk of fracture.
In this disorder, it is structural degeneration of bone tissue leading to low bone mass, fragility and increased susceptibility to fractures.
Bony skeleton is like a solid framework for the human body with which various organs and tissues are suspended. The two basic components of bone collagen are proteins that form a flexible network, calcium phosphate, which gives strength and hardness of bone. There is a homeostasis in our bones continue on the degeneration of bone cells simultaneously old building new ones. Until the age of 30 years the balance between bone degeneration and repair is almost equal and after that the amount of bone loss replaces the gain in bone mass and osteoporosis sets in.
